RON PAUL TO HOLD GIANT TOWN HALL MEETING IN MARYLAND

ENGAGES SUPPORTERS AND UNDECIDED VOTERS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND IN COLLEGE PARK

On March 28, 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul will hold a giant town hall meeting in Maryland, continuing the 12-term Congressman from Texas’ tradition of attracting large numbers of supporters and undecided voters.

Ron Paul’s college campus town hall meeting, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Wednesday, March 28^th at the University of Maryland.  The event will commence at 7:00 p.m. EST inside the University of Maryland’s Ritchie Coliseum, located at the intersection of Baltimore Avenue and Rossborough Lane, College Park, MD 20742.  Doors open to the public at 6:30 p.m.  To reserve your seat for the event featuring Dr. Paul and enter the venue 30 minutes earlier than the general public, please click here.

“The University of Maryland chapter is one of our strongest in the country, recruiting more than 2,000 supporters for the campaign so far.  Supporters are working tirelessly to organize this upcoming event so Ron Paul can speak directly to students and Maryland voters about his ‘Plan to Restore America,’ an economic blueprint that includes cutting $1 trillion in his first year in office and balancing the budget within three years,” said Edward King, National Youth Director for the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign.

“Ron Paul is the only candidate who will solve our debt crisis.  That’s why he attracts so many young people, and that’s why he is the best candidate to defeat President Obama in November,” added Mr. King.

Please join our door knocking team this Saturday March 17 at 9:30 am at Save-a-Patriot Fellowship Hall side entrance (12 Carroll St, Westminster). We will be pairing up and working through Westminster. This will take about 4 hours. If your not the type to talk, we can still use your help, as we need drivers and recorders. If 4 hours is too much consider giving Dr. Paul 2 hours, after all Dr. Paul has been fighting for you for over 20 years, so please fight for him this Saturday. An exciting opportunity to promote Ron Paul’s pro-life message is coming up this Monday, March 12, 2012 in Annapolis, Maryland.

Please attend the Maryland March for Life event wearing your Ron Paul gear and be sure to bring plenty of Ron Paul’s pro-life literature to let attendees know that there is only one choice for the pro-life community in the Maryland Republican Presidential Primary on April 3rd, 2012.

Coalition building is an important part of the Ron Paul campaign, and Ron Paul’s respect for Life and Liberty is second-to-none. We will be targeting the attendees and the parking lot at the Stadium– we will walk the crowds and will lit-drop the vehicles in the Stadium lot.

In Virginia, they have a sophisticated strategy to collect the most Delegates to the convention. It is very important that we do everything we can to win Delegates there.

Here’s what they need in Virginia and how you can help. This will be a lot of fun, and is a great way to make a huge difference– Romney can spend all his Wall Street money on ads, but he can’t buy great volunteers like you!

Here’s the plan:

Step 1: Maryland Ron Paul supporters will go to a Polling location in Virginia that is targeted to the districts where Paul has the most support.

Step 2: We will post up outside the polling locations with signs and smiles to greet voters and ask them to vote for Paul.

Step 3: When voters approach, we will ask them to sign up to be a Delegate to their County and have then fill out a form.
